The race is extremely tight in most wine categories, with that for top MCC spot no different.
Are there any contenders that would be able to challenge Villiera’s Prestige Cuvée Monro Brut who has been on top with the best MCC in the country for two years running? Will it be from well-known stables such as Graham Beck, Simonsig and Pongrácz, or will there be some surprises from relative unknown quarters too? The current status shows only three wineries in the top 5 spots. Final positions are to be announced in May 2019. So far, only 11 wineries make the SAWi Benchmark.
